●For Discogs sellers · October 2026

The new Discogs inventory manager, and where RevCogs fits.

Discogs is moving every seller to its upgraded inventory tools in batches. It's a real upgrade: filters you can stack, bulk edits on any selection, bulk price changes with a minimum, columns you can rearrange, CSV import, photos and a mobile app.

If you used a third-party tool to get some of that, you might not need it now. This page is an honest list of what Discogs does, what RevCogs does, and the handful of things only RevCogs does.

Four things the upgrade doesn't do

Everything else on the list below, Discogs now has in some form. These are the reasons to keep RevCogs open next to it.

Pro

Price to market

Discogs' new bulk price change is arithmetic on the prices you already have: 10% off everything, or $2 off, then rounded. That's useful, but it treats a record with 40 copies listed the same as one with two. Price to market looks up each selected record on its own: the lowest price it's listed at on Discogs and Discogs' suggested price for your grade. It proposes a price per record, never goes below the floor you set, and shows every change before anything is saved. It also tells you when you're already the cheapest copy, so you don't cut a price for nothing.

Free

Undo

Every bulk edit, single edit and delete you make in RevCogs is recorded. Undo it from the message that pops up afterwards, or later from Recent changes. A deleted listing can be restored too; it comes back as a new listing, because Discogs gives it a new ID. On Discogs, a bulk change or delete is permanent.

Free

Vacation mode

Going away for two weeks? Vacation mode pauses exactly the listings that are For Sale and keeps a note of which ones they were. When you're back, it puts exactly those back up, or does it on a return date you pick. With the new Discogs tools you filter, select all and set them to Expired, then relist, and the relist can't tell your vacation listings apart from ones you expired on purpose.

Your collection is the starting point

Most of us sell out of our own shelves. RevCogs lists straight from your Discogs collection, carrying over the grades you already recorded there. When a record sells, it helps you clear it out of your collection, with a restore if you remove the wrong one. You also get floor prices on each listing, wantlist tools, and a public page for your collection.

Side by side

Based on Discogs' own guide to the upgrade, published September 15, 2026. If we've got something wrong about their side, tell us on Discord and we'll fix it.
